The Blend & Technique
This ready-to-drink cocktail begins with WhistlePig PiggyBack 100% Rye Whiskey, aged for six years to ensure a bold, spice-forward backbone that never gets lost in a mix. Rather than utilizing cheap artificial sugars and flavorings, WhistlePig partners with Vermont neighbor Runamok to sweeten the cocktail with pure, premium maple syrup that has been slowly smoked over real pecan wood. The entire mixture is then barrel-aged to allow the fiery rye, smoky maple, and natural bitters to marry into a velvety, unified flavor profile.
