Selected in collaboration with the San Diego Barrel Boys, this single barrel was filled on February 28, 2003—entering the warehouse as a winter fill just as temperatures began rising toward spring.

Matured for a full 17 years in WhistlePig’s Warehouse 2 (Rick A, Level 2), this barrel sat at a perfect mid-level position, experiencing steady, moderate temperature cycles over nearly two decades. This slow, deliberate extraction pulled immense character from the wood, yielding a luxurious maturity that younger ryes simply cannot replicate.
